Currently used encryption algorithms on the verge of being cracked

According to a presentation at this year’s Black Hat conference, the shared encryption algorithms are on the verge of being cracked by mathematicians, and if/when it happens, HTTPS, PGP and other authentication standards currently in use will no longer provide security.
