The answer to that question, as with so many questions concerning IT, is “it depends.” If your company has computers that haven’t been patched for this vulnerability, those systems could lose the ability to resolve DNS names in July. That’s when the FBI is shutting down the DNS servers that replaced the rogue servers that were part of the DNS Changer botnet. Even though the fix has been around for months, an estimated 94 of all Fortune 500 companies still haven’t been patched – and it infects both Windows and Mac systems. Read more here:
