Ransomware is one of the most popular – and most frustrating – types of malicious software going around today, and a recent one that was delivered via a phishing message seemed to be targeting a lot of users of Microsoft’s Office 365. Luckily, the built-in malware protection that’s part of the service identified the attack quickly and has been updated to block it, so it’s no longer a threat to Office 365 users. However, the attack can also affect non-Office 365 users.
