Exploring TMG replacement possibilities, Part 2

Intel/McAfee recently announced that the company is spending $389 million to buy Stonesoft, which makes firewall, VPN and IPS software and appliances for the enterprise market. Stonesoft’s technology, which is designed to detect and prevent advanced evasion techniques (new more sophisticated attack methods), is expected to be integrated with McAfee’s existing firewall products.
