It’s been interesting to see the reactions, all over the web, to Microsoft’s official confirmation that TMG and many other Forefront products are being discontinued. In this blog post, former Microsoft employee Hal Berenson says a long goodbye to Forefront and offers an insider’s perspective about how the products came to be, how they evolved and why they’re going away. Berenson was the General Manager for TMG and UAG and considered TMG to be one of his own.
