I’ll be speaking again this year at TechRepublic’s annual conference in Louisville, Kentucky: TRLive 2011. Security and privacy issues will be one of the major focuses of the three-day event, which will include both formal presentations and “unconference” discussion sessions. Last year, my talk was about how IT professionals can work with law enforcement agencies to help track down cybercriminals and bring them to justice. This year, I’ll expand on that with an update on cybercrime trends and how the cybercrime landscape is evolving and changing – in ever more dangerous ways.
One of the really great things about the TechRepublic event is that it’s free – but you have to be quick because there are only 100 seats available and I expect them to fill up fast. Check out my blog post that goes into more detail about the event itself and contains a link to the registration site. I hope to see you there!
