How do you know if you have configured Fine Grained Password Policies in a Domain?

FGPP or Fine Grained Password Policies can be configured to apply multiple account policies in an Active Directory Domain. You can get a list of all FGPP that you have configured in an Active Directory by executing the below command:

  • Get-ADFineGrainedPasswordPolicy -Filter {Name -like “*”} | FT Name, Precedence, MaxPasswordAge, MinPasswordLength -A

Above command gets all FGPP configured in the current domain and shows their name, precedence, Maximum Password Age set, and MinimumPassword Length in a table.
