Windows Server 2008 has a great new MMC Snap-in called “Remote Desktops”. With this snap-in, you can create a saved MMC configuration (called a .MSC) that has all the frequent machines you connect to, already preconfigured. From there, you can open that saved MMC console and connect to your “menu” of remote desktops and servers.
To use the “remote desktops” snapin, go to Start -> Run -> mmc and add the “remote desktops” snap-in. Once added, add the servers you want to manage and then save it for future use.
