Netspeed.com will determine whether the logon is via a
slow connection. This could be a slow WAN connection or a RAS connection.
Netspeed is a logon script utility available with SMS. Checkras.exe , on the other hand, can determine if the logon
is coming in via RAS. Checkras is a logon script utility from the BackOffice
Resource Kit. This information was taken from Q173530
. A recent change in the kb article states that
NOTE: CheckRas.exe is not included with the Back Office
Resource Kit 4.5 or later. There is much of value here.
