Remote Server Administrations Tools, first introduced with Windows Server 2008/Windows Vista, can be used to remotely manage windows components. For example, you can install RSAT on a computer running Windows 8 to manage Active Directory environment.
Windows 8 can be installed on x86 and 64-bit architectures. There are two RSAT packages available to be installed on either of the architectures. The RSAT installer can be downloaded from the below location:

There are two RSAT packages which ship with RSAT Installer:
- Windows6.2-KB2693643-x64.msu
- Windows6.2-KB2693643-x86.msu
