Internet and telephone services went down in the Palestine regions of Gaza and West Bank after they were hit by a sustained cyber-attack. According to Palestinian authorities, the attack source IP addresses were found to be located in Germany, China and Slovenia while, they could not give more detailed information. Computers hackers from neighboring country Israel and pro-Palestinian computer hackers have been engaged in cyber warfare for the last years and it comes as no surprise that the Palestinian authorities are claiming that Israel could be involved in these attacks.
