Q. When ISA is installed on an RRAS box, how does ISA use RRAS? ISA replaces RRAS packet filtering, but how does ISA leverage RRAS for routing, VPN, demand-dial, etc.? Especially, how do RRAS remote access policies and profiles work with VPN/dial-up connections after ISA is installed?

ISA works in close conjunction with RRAS. In fact, try out the VPN wizard and you’ll see the changes that take place on your RRAS Server. RRAS and ISA work side-by-side, unless there is a conflict, and then ISA Wins.
