It’s a matter of trust

According to a study done by Centrify, appropriately called the Consumer Trust Survey, the answer is yes. In fact, two thirds of the eight hundred consumers who responded said they are likely to cut off their business relationships with companies that have experienced security breaches and go elsewhere, even though the same percentage believe being hacked is the norm.
