There are a lot of things that make me sad. Cloudy days, orphans, taxes, injustice, single NIC ISA and TMG firewalls, calling ISA or TMG a “server”, and even Linux.
But maybe one of the things that hurts me the most is when I go to a Microsoft conference and see demonstrations of TMG and the link at the top of the middle pane of the TMG console asking if you want to join the Customer Experience Improvement Program has gone unclicked. It’s sort of like watching Microsoft employees carrying around iPhones while I’m proudly displaying my Windows Mobile Omnia.
Go ahead click the link! And do more. Go for Advanced Membership in the Microsoft Telemetry Service. When you do that, you give Microsoft the extra information it needs to make the NIC and Web anti-malware features even better.
