Long NetBIOS Names May Interfere with UAG DirectAccess User Interface

I haven’t really thought much about NetBIOS names over the last several years. I don’t even think I have a WINS server on my network anymore (although I’d have to check, as we have a lot of legacy servers here in the Shinder Bunker). But it seems that NetBIOS names are still important for some applications, as this post on Edge Man blog brings up:
