Malware and video files

I guess it was only a matter of time before malware authors began to graft their programs onto media file formats like Real Media and Adobe Flash to name but a few. Most users trust these file formats implicitly and won’t think twice about executing them. Only makes sense that malware authors would take advantage of this trust. To be honest I had been chatting about this infection vector several years ago, and it surprises me that it took the Internet bottom feeders this long to get on the bandwagon. This could affect a lot of corporate end-users who like to view this type of file format at work. That brings up another good question: is your work an ISP? Does it really have to give Internet access to one an all? I for one say no. Your thoughts?
