Microsoft announces more encryption options for Office 365

Microsoft announced that they will be improving the encryption features in their Office 365 cloud based productivity services by expanding support for Information Rights Management (IRM) to non-Microsoft mobile platforms (iOS and Android). This is in keeping with the company’s recent move to embrace the users of other mobile platforms and will bring the same permission-based DRM to those users that Windows and Windows Phone users have had.
