Overview
The Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 Email Router is an interface between the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system and one or more Exchange servers or POP3 servers for incoming email, and one or more SMTP or Exchange servers for outgoing email. Email messages come into the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system through the Email Router.
The three main components that can be installed during Email Router Setup are as follows:
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM Email Router Service
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM Email Configuration Manager
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM Email Rule Deployment Wizard
