Microsoft just unveiled a new lineup of business apps coming to Office 365 Premium. The apps include Microsoft Connections, Microsoft Listings, and Microsoft Invoicing. They’ll be rolling out over the next few weeks to all Premium subscribers in the United States, Canada, and the UK, starting with those in the First Release program.
With these new apps, the company hopes to help users better manage their various business operations. In fact, Microsoft is also releasing a new central hub for all of your business apps called the Office 365 Business Center, so you can manage all the apps you use on one unified dashboard. Here’s a bit more about each of the new apps from Microsoft.
Microsoft Connections is an app aimed at helping users create professional looking email marketing campaigns. It includes predesigned email templates and a dashboard for managing subscribers and segments. You can also use it to track open rates, clicks, new signups, offer redemptions, and more.
Microsoft Listings is a tool created to help you easily manage your business’s listings on sites like Facebook, Google, Bing, and Yelp. Basically, you can update your business information in Microsoft Listings and link it to those accounts so that it will update automatically, instead of you having to update each one individually. So if you change your hours of operations, for example, you can save a lot of time by just managing the one dashboard.
And finally, Microsoft Invoicing offers a solution to help you create invoices and accept credit card payments online. The app can connect to PayPal and QuickBooks so you can sync your payment and customer information. And you can use it to send professional-looking invoices while also tracking your payments in one convenient dashboard and keeping your other payment platforms up to date.
