Even without the fingerprint authentication issue, iOS 7 has a serious security problem: an attacker who knows the not-so-secret sequence of taps and presses can bypass the lock screen and access the owner’s photos, contacts, email, history, social media apps and more. There’s also a bypass method that uses Siri, and another that will allow an unauthorized user to make phone calls with the phone.
