Lync Server brought a lot of cool features to OCS and a summary of all that can be found at: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff793475.aspx
In my humble opinion, three of the features that would be in my top 10 new features are: Microsoft Lync Web App-based where Live Meeting is not a requirement anymore (If you are an Avaya customer forget that Java interface if you don’t like to use Live Meeting :)); Branch Office and Data center resiliency; and the last but not least is the Lync Server 2010 Control Panel which allow administrator to manage their OCS.. ops.. Lync Server environment from any computer with a browser that supports SilverLight 4.0.
