Office 2010 SP1 contains roll-up of security fixes and more

It’s been over a year now since Office 2010 was released, and there have been a number of security patches affecting the Office applications that have come out since then. If you’ve been lax about applying all those monthly patches, now you can get them all in one fell swoop – or easily apply them to a new installation of Office – with Service Pack 1, which Microsoft released about a week and a half ago. The service pack contains a rollup of all the previously issued security fixes, but also includes some new features. One of those is support for Chrome running Outlook Web Access (OWA) through SharePoint 2010 SP1. There are also a number of improvements for the Office Web Apps (online versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote). Find out more here:
