Office 365 now collecting data to improve Outlook 2013 performance

This information will help the Office 365 team to identify client connectivity issues and resolve them faster. The goal is to greatly improve the health and performance of the Office 365 service. The following are examples of the kind of information that is collected:

  • The time required to process a request with Office 365
  • The time required to retrieve free/busy information from Office 365
  • Details about unsuccessful connection attempts made to Office 365
