Last week we heard that Samsung’s Galaxy S3 (Android) smartphone has a vulnerability that could allow it to be remotely wiped by code from a malicious web site. If you have a BYOD environment and/or company-issued S3 phones on your network, you should advise users with S3’s that Samsung has now released a patch for the vulnerability, which can be downloaded over the air.
