Secure the Linux desktops on your Windows network

Some folks still believe that running Linux, in and of itself, makes their computers secure. I hate to burst that bubble but it’s just not true. One of the most popular distros of Linux, Ubuntu, issued 38 security advisories in May, many of them addressing multiple vulnerabitlies – and it was a typical month.

It’s just as important to implement security on your Linux desktops as on those running Windows, and this article can get you started on improving the security of those machines.
