Setting Exchange 2010 Mailbox Features in Bulk via OU

In reality, this is very simple to accomplish – taking the example given in the abstract of a number of mailbox users in a given OU whom you wish to disable POP3 access for – this can be accomplished via opening the Exchange Management Shell and typing:

get-mailbox | where {$_.OrganizationalUnit -eq 'prepad.local/noPOP'} | set-casmailbox -PopEnabled $false

You can expand the above to cover the disabling or enabling of other mailbox features by including them in the set-CasMailbox parameters for example;

get-mailbox | where {$_.OrganizationalUnit -eq 'prepad.local/noPOP'} | set-casmailbox -PopEnabled $false -ActiveSyncEnabled $false -OWAEnabled $false -EwsEnabled $false -ECPEnabled $false -ImapEnabled $false
