Although most technology companies will provide either evaluation or not-for-resale licenses upon request for an appropriate use, SolarWinds has taken this concept one step further. Today, SolarWinds announced the SolarWinds Virtualization Manager vExpert NFR (Not for Resale) License Program for eligible VMware vExperts. This program allows vExperts to use SolarWinds Virtualization Manager to monitor up to 50 virtual machines for personal, evaluation or demonstration purposes. This is a service that may serve well vExperts that want to implement a monitoring tool in their home lab environment or work with clients on choosing a management solution.
