States take privacy policy laws seriously

If your organization makes a mobile app available to customers, you’d better to sure to include a privacy policy with the download – otherwise you could find yourselves facing legal action and some pretty stiff penalties, especially if you have customers in California. The state attorney general there has sued Delta Airlines for that very thing, and wants Delta to pay a $2500 penalty for each time its app has been downloaded (which numbers in the millions).
