TechDays in Belgium: Private Cloud Security

The private cloud represents a way to benefit from cloud services while maintaining more control over your data and applications. But, as with any new technology, there are security implications – and many surveys have shown that security is a number one concern for companies considering a move to the cloud, whether private or public.

My husband, Tom Shinder (who formerly hosted this blog), now works in the Server and Cloud division at Microsoft on a team focused on private cloud, and he’s going to be sharing his knowledge in A Solution for Private Cloud Security at TechDays in Belgium, coming up in February. This is a relatively rare opportunity for those in Europe to see him speak – and I’m planning to go along for the ride, and would love to meet you and talk IT security while we’re there.
