TechEd 2009: A Preview of Forefront TMG and URL Filtering

URL Filtering is back! Yes, it was removed for during the beta 2 of the TMG firewall, but it’s coming back with beta 3. And the new version is improved in some significant ways.image

But you can’t get it yet. This doesn’t mean you won’t be able to see it in action before the beta 3 goes public.

How? By going to TechEd 2009 in Los Angeles next week!

David Cross from the Forefront TMG team will be presenting the new URL filtering features included in the next version of the TMG firewall. There’s a ton of new stuff under the hood that David will talk about, so if you can make it to his sessions, it’ll be worth your time.

I’ll be there too 🙂
