The MS Exchange Team Blog Getting a Serious Facelift and Moving to TechNet

Update
A welcome blog post has now been published: http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2011/03/14/ehlo-again.aspx

Anyone else that got these strange test messages from the MS Exchange Team blog during the weekend? Guess what? Yes it seems like there was a reason for the five day long maintenance window that recently were announced on the blog. The blog is not only getting a serious facelift, it’s also moving to TechNet (where the TechNet Wiki, TechNet Magazine etc. lives), which should bring many benefits with it.

How did I find out about this? Well, if you examine the link of the test messages, you’ll see that they point to: http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange.

Below is a screenshot of the current MS Exchange Team blog design.

The following screenshot is taken from the site to which the test messages is pointing (http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange).

I guess it’s just a matter of time before the www.msexchangeteam.com DNS record is pointed to http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange.

Congrats to the Exchange team! Excellent job with not only the design of the new blog but also with the migration of all the content to TechNet.

Until later,
