Some users of the Megaupload service discovered last week that there is an inherent risk in storing your data in a cloud service along with the data of other unknown persons or organizations. If those others are storing data that’s deemed illegal, such as pirated copyrighted works, your files can be seized right along with theirs and you can lose access to them. It’s a wakeup call to be careful about what service you choose to host your data storage.
