Welcome to this week’s installment of the Xtreme Minute! Our weekly rundown of the TechGenix Xtreme Podcast with Louise Chalupiak and Peter King with links to articles on the week’s hot tech topics. This week our theme is about maneuvering the challenges created by technology.

Mitch Tulloch enlightens us on the first challenge in his article titled Level up: When tier 1 tech support just isn’t enough. Mitch shares his learned behavior that helps to escalate help desk issues to the correct level of support. The question remains as to why service providers are not reworking the help desk process so that it isn’t such a negative experience.

We are reminded that many of us still fear the blue screen of death and that can be used to our detriment. While we have become much more tech-savvy, we need to be aware that there is always a social engineering attack waiting for us just around the corner.
