Three things you shouldn’t with Sysprep


Here are three things you shouldn’t do when running Sysprep on a Windows Vista computer:

1. Don’t run Sysprep from any directory except %WINDIR%\system32\sysprep

2. Don’t run Sysprep on a version of Windows different from the one from which you got your version of Sysprep.

3. Don’t run Sysprep on a system that has been upgraded from a previous version of Windows.
