From a wonderful and most welcomed innovation, the Internet is now seen as a potential threat by many western countries. A report published by the British Defence Academy about Cyber Inquiry – to provide a strategic overview and assessment of the new nature of security in a world that is increasingly enabled by and dependent on networked digital computers. In contrast, some states such as Russia and China saw the Internet as a potential threat from the outset, and looked at the problem in the round from their perspective.
