Troubleshooting problem loading Java application in IE

Problem: You have a Java application that doesn’t work properly in Internet Explorer. For example, the Java application might cause IE to crash. You notice that if you disable UAC on the computer, the Java application runs without problems. What can you do?

Resolution: Try adding the website where the Java application resides to the Intranet or Trusted Sites zone in IE. Doing this will disable Protected Mode for the site while leaving UAC enabled for all other IE zones.
