McAfee Labs published a brief report about last week’s 0-day vulnerability related to Adobe Flash Player that could cause a crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system. McAfee security experts found out that the exploit uses highly sophisticated exploitation techniques to attack various Flash Player versions. According to the report, the attack uses a previously unknown technique to craft the heap memory on Flash Player.
