According to a recent survey by Venafi, while 90 percent of those surveyed believe that a leading Certification Authority such as Symantec/Verisign, Comodo or GoDaddy, will be compromised within two years, that same survey indicates that nearly a quarter of respondents said they don’t know what they would do if they discovered that the certificates they’re using had been issued by a CA that was breached, and 6 percent even said they would continue to use those untrusted certificates.
