What actually happens when you reinstall TCP/IP on a Windows machine by using the netsh interface ip reset command? To find out, use the netsh interface ip reset c:\reset.txt command instead as when you do this all the actions including the registry keys that are touched will be logged in the text file c:\reset.txt. This can be handy if you are having issues with a network adapter that only go away when you reinstall TCP/IP on your system.
