When someone else’s insider is your threat

Here’s an interesting article about the challenge of protecting your intellectual property from a different kind of “insider threat” – that posed not by employees of your company but by vendors, customers and other third parties who may have access to your confidential information. This happened to Symantec earlier this month, when the source code for their products was stolen from a third party’s network.
