A former RSA computer scientist and a researcher with the University of Wisconsin have created an encryption device that delivers fake data to hackers when they use a brute force attack to try to guess encryption keys. That means when they finally hit upon the right key, they don’t even know it because the real data is lost among all the phoney “honey.”
