Huge Facebook Phishing Operation Targets Millions
According to PIXM, the phishing campaign that affected up to 8.5 million users started early in 2021. It also focused exclusively on Facebook Messenger. The scam was relying on the fact that only a few of the phishing instances were shared by the users publicly. In turn, they were rarely recognized as a direct attack.
