We’d been having some troubles with caching recently and part of our troubleshooting process was clearing the ISA firewall’s Web cache. Since I had to go through this recently, I thought I’d share with you how to do that:
- Click Start, click Run, enter services.msc in the Open text box, and then click OK.
- Right-click Microsoft Firewall, and then click Stop.
That’s all there is to it. Make sure that you do this when you don’t have a lot of users connecting through the ISA firewall. Otherwise, expect your phone to start ringing

Tom
