One of the biggest concerns expressed by IT professionals regarding the cloud is security – but a new study from the Ponemon Institute shows that many of those IT pros know that there may be cloud services being used in their organizations without their knowledge. And in fact, they are not at all confident that their companies have a handle on what applications are out there and exactly what risks they pose. Even worse, many said they don’t even know who is responsible for ensuring the security of data in the cloud.
