Despite the many new security measures incorporated in Windows 8 and praise from many corners that call it the most secure version of Windows ever, a French company, Vupen, that sells hacker tools to government customers, announced that it s researchers have already been able to exploit the new OS less than a week after its release.
The company reportedly has not shared the exploits with Microsoft so a patch could be developed and released; it is one of many businesses that now make money selling zero-day exploits instead of working with the software developers to fix vulnerabilities. Vupen claims it sells the exploits only to “NATO governments and partners.”
