Microsoft DCU takes down another botnet

The Official Microsoft Blog announced today that their Digital Crimes Unit’s “Operation b70” discovered and took action against another major botnet, called Nitol, helping to stop the spread of 500 strains of malware. Cybercriminals were preloading software infected with malware onto computers being sold to unaware consumers and it could then be unwittingly spread through USB flash drives. Find out more here:
