This week is the OpenStack Summit in Paris and while I regretfully am not there I have read a few of the announcemtns so far. In no particular order, here they are:
OpenStack COO acknowledged that the release schedule makes it harder for companies to adopt OpenStack and says now that the solution is more stable companies should feel confident deploying it and not needing to constantly update.
Hewlett-Packard and Wind River have announced a partnership to develop cloud solutions using the HP Helion OpenStack technology.
Canonical announced that it will be releasing an Ubuntu based OpenStack solution called Canonical OpenStack Distribution.
Blue Blox and Vexxhost will be the first cloud service providers to offer OpenStack Database-as-a-Service.
Nuage Networks announced that its virtualized services platform is now certified for RedHat Enterprise Linux Openstack Platform 5.
