Today our discussion starts with a rather controversial question that Brien Posey addresses. Is tech addiction really a thing? Last month the World Health Organization officially classified gaming disorder as a mental health condition. Are we victims of extreme cultural and career demands that drive us to obsession or is this just bad behavior?

Move over GDPR. The EU isn’t done with us yet. Peter and I discuss Monique Magalhaes’ article that reminds us we will never be done preparing for regulatory compliance. Titled, ePrivacy Regulation: The latest EU overhaul you must deal with now, this is a must read as it raises awareness of the latest initiative to enhance the security and confidentiality of communication. But how does the EU define communication?

Once again we wrap up our day with Mitch Tulloch. This week is a discussion about his article titled, If not now, when? Taking your IT career to the next level. It’s no longer about age. Regardless of whether you are a Millennial, Gen X, Gen Z, Boomer, or Traditionalist, age is no longer an excuse when it comes to career goals and aspirations. Mitch enlightens us on the traits we need to embrace and display in order to take advantage of the opportunities that are available to us today.
