The first update to AAD Connect has been released and it can be found on download center (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=47594).
The addressed issues are mainly installation related. A full list can be found here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/active-directory-aadconnect-version-history/.
With this release the AAD Connect team have also removed Azure AD Sync from download center and all links have been redirected to Azure AD Connect. You will also notice that the docs on MSDN for Azure AD Sync now has the “to be archived” notice. Documentation will be updated for Azure AD Connect only moving forward. Note that this does not deprecate Azure AD Sync in any way; it is still fully supported.
