Overview
This FAQ provides details on the update from Kaspersky 5 engine to Kaspersky 8 engine in all Forefront and Antigen server protection products. Customers must take action and install new rollups for each product before Jan. 31, 2011 to enable the new Kaspersky engine. Customers who do not install the necessary rollups by Jan. 31, 2011 will need to DESELECT the Kaspersky engine — as the Kaspersky 5 engine will no longer continue to recieve updates as of Feb. 1, 2011.
